Jessica Stephenson trained with Joseph Pilates' world-renowned protégé, Romana Kryzanowska at True Pilates New York, (formerly Drago's). She was certified in 2004 after a rigorous apprenticeship of 600+ hours under the tutelage of both Romana Kryzanowska and her daughter Sari Mejia-Santo. There she learned to work with all different body types and abilities.
Jessica holds a B.A. in psychology from Goucher College and has danced professionally with ClancyWorks Dance Company, Ledges and Bones Dance Project, RAWdance, punkiCo, little seismic dance company as well as in many other freelance projects. She enjoys live music, the ocean, laughter, and is delighted to teach the lovely and diverse people of San Francisco.
For as long as she can remember, Stella has always enjoyed being active. Her biggest joys were running, jumping, riding bikes, and doing back flips down the street with friends. Movement made her feel alive, energized, and happy.
Stella started her training with Martt Lawrence at The Pilates Center of San Francisco and completed her hours and exams with Master Trainer Dorothee Vandewalle at Metropolitan Pilates in Seattle earning her M.A.T. Pilates certification.
Her certifications also include; ACE, and NASM. In addition, she continues to study the Pilates Method regularly with teacher trainer, Chris Robinson at S6 Fitness in San Diego, and through yearly workshops with Master teacher trainers Bob Liekens and Kathi Ross-Nash. She still loves to teach fitness classes and train clients on the fitness floor to help them reach their goals and attain true core strength, flexibility, and control.
Miki started her training at Pilates Center of San Francisco with Martt Lawrence and was certified by Dorothee VandeWalle at Metropolitan Pilates in 2017.
Her lessons focus on helping clients gain a deeper understanding of their body while building correct movement patterns. She will help you balance your muscles' strength and flexibility. She provides safe instruction for pre-natal and post-natal Pilates. She has a lifelong passion for well-being and earned her BS degree in Human Nutrition from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
